Changes to the 2026 Kia SUV Lineup

Kia has a range of SUVs and crossovers beginning with the subcompact Kia Seltos and ending with the roomy and rugged Kia Telluride. A major change to the Kia lineup involves the quirky Kia Soul, which will no longer be offered in 2026, as the final one rolled off the line in October 2025.

The 2026 Kia Sportage, the best-selling compact SUV, receives a refresh in the Opposites United style. With a more aggressive front end and stacked LED headlights, the 2026 Sportage is worth seeing. On the inside, it features a dual 12.3-inch panoramic display for the driver and passenger. Like the Soul, the Sportage is available in several powertrains, including a PHEV.

It features a premium interior loaded with tech and comfort features, and the automaker is offering it in a new X-Line SX-Prestige trim with blacked-out exterior accents. The 2026 Sorento is also available with a PHEV that provides more all-electric range and speedy charging.

The New Kia K4 Hatchback

Kia is one of the few automakers that continues to make sedans like the Kia K5 and K4. For 2026, the automaker will offer the 2026 Kia K4 as a hatchback in three trims: EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo. This attractive and practical car provides class-leading rear headroom and legroom, while also delivering up to 23.9 cubic feet of cargo space in the hatch. Optional features include an ultra-wide sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and up to 29 driver-assistance tech features.

The 2026 Kia EVs

Kia continues to lead the way with its EV lineup. The automaker will continue to supply the first three-row EV SUV, the Kia EV9. For 2026, the EV9 comes with an NACS charging port, giving drivers access to over 2,000 Tesla Supercharger stations.
